The Camp Rock fandom is in full-blown detective mode after Joe Jonas appeared to casually drop the bombshell of a third movie during a recent episode (Aug. 12) of Hot Ones Versus with brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas.

When asked to read his latest Notes app entry, Joe smirked at the camera before saying, "Read Camp Rock 3."

Nick nearly choked on his milk, Kevin laughed, and Joe doubled down with, "It's the truth. It's literally right here… Sorry, Disney!" 

Fans aren't buying that this was just a playful moment. The slip-up came just weeks after Joe reunited with Demi Lovato on the Jonas Brothers' 20th anniversary tour to perform Camp Rock classics "This Is Me" and "Wouldn't Change a Thing" at MetLife Stadium – marking their first joint performance in years.

The timing is raising eyebrows even more thanks to Lovato's recent Chicks in the Office podcast appearance, where she admitted she's leaning into "nostalgia" these days. She also told the popular podcast that the collaboration felt "healing," a sentiment that only added fuel to speculation about a reunion project.

For fans, that sounded less like a casual comment and more like a well-placed Easter egg hinting at the franchise's return. 

On social media, fans are calling the whole sequence of events "too perfect to be coincidental." As one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "First the reunion, now the tease? They're 100% building hype for Camp Rock 3." 

Disney has yet to comment, but if this is a coordinated rollout, the nostalgia marketing is working. Whether Joe's comment was a genuine leak or part of a master plan, the Camp Rock fandom believes something big is coming, and they're ready to sing along when it does.
